I need to find a CRM and Project Management software for a small RE development company. Any suggestions?

Cynthia, for small real estate development firms, tools like Zoho CRM + Zoho Projects or HubSpot CRM + Trello/ClickUp work well. They balance client tracking and project planning affordably. If you want more automation, try Monday.com with CRM add-ons.

Hi Cynthia, I’ve worked closely with both real estate and project-based teams in fast-moving environments, and I totally get how overwhelming it can be to find the right tool—especially when you're trying to balance client relationships, deal tracking, permits, contractors, and timelines all in one place.

What’s worked well in my experience is starting with something simple and flexible, then layering complexity as your processes mature. For many small real estate development firms, the sweet spot tends to be a CRM + light project management combo that doesn’t require a huge learning curve or full-time admin support.

A few thoughts based on what I’ve seen:

Zoho CRM + Zoho Projects is a solid ecosystem with real estate-specific templates.

ClickUp has been gaining traction—it’s highly customizable and lets you track deals, deadlines, vendors, and tasks in one place.

If client communication is a big priority, pairing HubSpot CRM with a visual PM tool like Trello or Notion can work really well too.

Feel free to share more about how your team operates day to day—happy to suggest more tailored options based on workflow.

You’re asking the right question at the right time—it really does make a difference to get this foundation right early on.
