Can I still prepare with PMBOK fifth edition for the PMP exam because I was told the seventh edition was already out?

Currently the Fifth version is the latest one.

But to prepare for the PMP exam you will need another books or maybe training. Check out other posts here on projectmanagement.com to get more info.

Between 5 and 7, there is 6. So how do we move from 5th edition to 7th?

Editions come in a sequential order, adding 1 every time. The 6th Edition is expected to come by early 2018. so, the current 5th Edition is still half way and is the recommended PMBOK Guide for Exam preparation

Yes, you can. The changes are not so great as to invalidate 5th ed - the majority of questions etc will still be familiar and the answers will not change greatly - some changes in terminology so using a different edition to the one the tests are based on is slightly harder, requires a bit of interpretation, and new editions introduce new topics so there may be some that simply aren't covered in your edition but I suspect you could use any edition and still have a reasonable chance of success with some interpretation!
