Hello! I'm a Senior Program Manager at my company and we are looking at new and better ways to manage knowledge. I'd like to hear from fellow practitioners if you have a specific knowledge management platform that you love, and why.

We're looking at taking a huge leap from a very basic system to something that is advancing with the times, incorporating AI for enhanced search and automation elements.

We recently explored options and found Confluence (with AI add-ons) and Notion AI to be solid choices easy to use, searchable, and flexible. If you’re looking for deeper enterprise features, Guru and Sinequa offer strong AI powered knowledge discovery. The key is ensuring it’s embedded in daily workflows not just a siloed library.

Hello Paul,
I had a similar experience using Confluence (with AI add-ons) as Pavan mentioned above (plus, he provided an insight into other tools, Notion AI, Guru and Sinequa. This aligns closely with Gartner's Knowledge Management Review; here is the link:https://www.gartner.com/reviews/market/kno...gement-software

In addition, here is another list and review of knowledge management software tools, https://peoplemanagingpeople.com/tools/bes...ement-software/

Thanks for sharing, Maria.
Pavan, at IBM we used a bespoke system globally, with more than 40K users storing and retrieving knowledge assets. The ROI was positive, as IBM evaluated re-use of assets as savings for projects down the line. Regular reviews of currency of assets and re-use were supported by trhe system. You might want to find out the functionality you need to make it work, it is not only a storage system.

A tool we’re currently interested in and evaluating is Docs https://docs.numerique.gouv.fr/home/. It’s hard to say we love it just yet, but it has got our attention.
