I am new to PM, my current task leads/PM is looking for a way to track multiple milestones and the tasks associated with such milestone. We do not have MS Project or any formal project software so using Excel is mandatory. They are visual and would like to view in a rolling calendar format.
We coordinate education sessions to comply with contract obligations and need to make sure all steps to the event are completed.
Example – Event June 6 (milestone)
Multiple tasks by several individuals must be completed by this June 6 milestone.
There are also tasks required to be completed after the June 6 event to comply with contract.
Does anyone have an excel template they would be will to share that shows in calendar view, knowing the details are behind the scenes?
