I have just started my PMP Certification journey ! Have no idea about , how much time it will take for the preparation and how to prepare for the PMP Certification.
Please suggest and guide , how to prepare for the PMP exam , what books should I read , how long will it take for the exam preparation !

Saswata, here is what I suggest you do:
1) Go through the PMBOK Guide, ECO and the Process Groups Guide.
2) Rita Mulcahy’s PMP Exam Prep Book (currently the 11th edition, but please verify). It's one of the most effective resources for understanding key concepts deeply and bridging any knowledge gaps.
3) PM PrepCast Simulator Package – This is an excellent set of mock exams that will help you prepare well. Practice with it as much as you can. Alternatively, PMI’s Study Hall question bank is also an option, but I’ve found PrepCast to be more effective overall.
4) If you’re looking for a course to full fill the educational hours, Joseph Phillips’ PMP courses on Udemy are well-structured, clear, and very affordable. They’re great for reinforcing your understanding of key topics.
Hope this helps. Good Luck!

I am going through same path as Saswata and wondering if you know anything about Simplilearn courses? Do you think online or boot camp style training is best? Also, the study time between training and taking the exam -- any recommendations or thoughts?

I recommend Joseph Phillips courses on Udemy. They are self-paced, well-structured and for very affordable pricing.
Whether boot camp or online depends on your level of comfort. I personally prefer online self-paced courses and have always found them great!
Hi Experts , I have purchased the PRO Plan of PMP Certification Training program from KnowledgeHut UpGrad ! Hope it will help me getting the PMP Certification !
Hi there,
I am currently studying for my PMP exam.
I bought the Udemy Course by Andrew Ramdayal, but the Udemy course is not updated as per the PMBOK 7.I am looking for an online course which is aligned to the current course for PMP.
Please share your suggestions?
I have Rita's book and PMBOK 7, what else can be beneficial to take the exam in Nov 2025?
TIA
