Maintaining the following reports may help too.
1)Burned Down Chart Per Project,
2)Resource allocation report to understand which is resource is required when in a project so the sourcing can be smooth
3) Task overdue report to indicate the list of overdue activities that are on the verge of affecting the critical path.

Hi Rashmi Mohan,
Thank you very much for your kind reply, very helpful to me.
I will start implementing these three reports :-
1)Burned Down Chart Per Project,
2)Resource allocation report
3) Task overdue report
Related to Task Overdue Report, Here I'm using Clarity and tasks are not having dependencies, Is there way i can acheive this in excel ?
Also any suggestion for Testing related reports from PMO end?
like SIT, Functional Tests, UAT.
Thank you.

Dear Members,
I request some more options if you have for me? To increase PMO Scope of my work.
Hi Ganesh, so far you have very much focussed on monitoring and reporting on your current projects. Just a couple of ideas... what about including some activities related to developing the PM workforce- mentoring, training, certification etc? Also how's about some stakeholder engagement to ensure that the PMO is meeting your organisation's needs and has a strong presence?
Regards
Tim

Hi Tim,
Thank you very much for your kind response.
Very helpful points.
1. But here QA Team already taken the role of menoring and training the people.
2. Related to Stakeholder's meeting, i dont have much access to management, still can be possible ?
No offense, but I think you are asking a wrong question here.
The question should not be 'how do I increase my PMO scope' but 'how can I add more value to the projects I support'
If you ask the question but 'how can I add more value to the projects I support' I can probably suggest an approach -
a) meet your stakeholders, the PMs and project teams you support - ask them about their challenges, and what will help them feel better and deliver better
b) Identify ways to address those challenges - remember, there are many ways to solve an issue
c) list these challenges and discuss with the management of the function you belong, and discuss with them the issues and your recommendations, and ask for priorities
d) then pick those issues and approach them purposefully
Next time you can ask - 'how should I solve this issue?'
Good luck Saving Changes...

Hi suchitra,
Thank you very much for your kind reply and suggestion.
I take your suggestion.
One among the reson for asking How Do I increase PMO Scope is :
1. PM's are focused on techinical deliveries, and thats their high priority, hence from stakeholder's point i get very less support for increasing the scope.
Can you please share your views based on this scenario?
