I gave my pmp exam on Aug14th 2025 and feel that questions posted to me are not completely aligned to PMBOK 7th edition ,also exam pattern doesn't justify.is their any chance that our incorrect questions be posted to us?did it happen anytime. Saving Changes...
PMI does have a fairly rigorous quality control process over its exam questions but remember that the PMBOK Guide is just one of many references used for the exam questions so it is possible that there might be some questions with slight variations from what is found in the guide.

Preetha, I completely agree with Kiron’s point. While PMBOK is a valuable reference, it’s just one of many resources available. The PMP exam is primarily experience- and scenario-based, unlike the CAPM, which is more focused on knowledge and direct content recall. Saving Changes...

Preetha,
Such certification exams rarely have any direct question based on recall. The intent is not to test the memory skills, but the applied ones - hence they are mostly scenario based.
If you feel the questions were incorrect, that may be a feeling only. PMI's question setting methodology is a pretty rigorous one, and chances of something coming from "out of syllabus" is next to impossible.
Thats my understanding on the subject.
Thanks and all the best. Saving Changes...
