For keeping up with AI, I rely on a variety of sources in addition to the material from PMI. Here are some of my favorites:
1. Microsoft's AI Fundamentals training (free) which can lead to the AI 900 cert. Includes videos, illustrations, and text lessons--all of which are short. (Google has an equivalent course).
2. Nate Jones substack...both beginning and intermediate content, explained well, with frequent updates on how models and tech is evolving. https://natesnewsletter.substack.com/
3. The AI Exchange slack community (and newsletter). Great chatter and resources here, and it's a safe place to ask questions.
4. Auto-generated AI digest from ChatGPT. I use a prompt to get a custom newsletter delivered every morning in ChatGPT. It sends me the top 2-3 headlines, teaches me a new intermediate-level term, gives me examples of how it relates to project management, and gives me a practice exercise to try to apply the new concept (or learn more about it). DM me and I can give you the prompt I use!
