After looking for resources to enhance my knowledge before enrolling in the CPMAI course on the PMI website, I wasn’t able to find any books or reference materials to study beforehand. Are there any recommended resources I could rely on, or is the course itself the only official material available for this certification?
While researching this certification, I came across several variations of the CPMAI certificate (CPMAI + v7 & CPMAI + E), which left me a bit confused about the differences between them. Which one would be the best option to start with in order to learn about AI project management? Saving Changes...

Shahid, as far as I’m aware, the only available resource at the moment is the PMI course associated with the exam, which is primarily knowledge-based.
As for your other question regarding the variation of the CPMAI and which one to start with, I suggest you start with the core certification. See below explanation:
1) CPMAI (v7) is the core Certification which covers AI fundamentals, AI project lifecycle, machine learning basics, data readiness, CPMAI’s six phases (business understanding through to operationalization), and trustworthy AI principles.
2) CPMAI+ PLUS (v7) is an add-on course which you can take afterwards, and there is not exam. It builds on CPMAI and adds content on Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Big Data, and Data Science.
3) CPMAI+E is another add-on course which includes everything from CPMAI+ PLUS, with a strong emphasis on Ethical AI, Responsible AI, Transparency, Explainability, AI governance, laws, regulations, and Trustworthy AI frameworks.
I don't think the add-ons do have exams. They are just courses and upon completion of the course, you get the badge.
Hope this helps!

Dear Rami,
Thank you for your valuable contribution, it really helped me better understand the differences between each type and decide which one to start with. As Marc mentioned, your explanation is even clearer than what’s provided on the CPMAI webpage. I truly appreciate the effort and recommendations you’ve shared.

The CPMAI webpage makes an effort to explain this but doesn't offer the level of clarity of Rami's response above :)
Thank you, Sir
