Hi Danielle,
Thanks for letting us know. My Project Management Office started a book club and we were going to use books through e-reads. It's good to know it is not longer offered.
I do like all the webinars, articles, and templates!
Hi Aimee,
You might consider piggy-backing on the book club that we will be starting in March, as a way to help manage the coordination of your PMO's book club. We will announce the author and book, and post a video by the author that touches on the themes of the book as a kick-off for our book club program. The initial video and discussion thread will be open to the public, so that anyone may participate in the overall discussion. We will then lift questions from the thread for the author to address in his closing webinar, which will be limited to PMI members to join.
In this way, you can host your own localized discussion, contribute to the global discussion, and interact with the author during the webinar.
I hope this helps you in your planning. Please let me know if there is anything you would like to know about our program as you plan your own. Saving Changes...

Hi George,
Due to very low usage of the e-reads program, PMI discontinued this offering on 31 January 2016. The titles are still available for purchase through PMI's Bookstore, if you are looking for a particular book. The e-reads program was initially established to provide PMI members free access to content not made available through other PMI programs.
The growth of our online community, however, provides access to a wealth of relevant and timely content, with over 1200 webinars, 1000+ articles, and a full repository of practitioner-generated templates for download by PMI and Premium members. We believe that the quality, relevance, accessibility and selection of content made available through the online community provides value for our members, and we will continue to ensure that we maintain this repository through your contributions and suggestions.
I feel really sad to hear that. It was one of the reason I happily joined the community. Of course there are other reasons too. The fact is that the link was not easy to find, this is the main reason why it wasn't accessed so much. Many people had no idea that such an opportunity existed. Too bad it's gone. Saving Changes...

Hi Aimee,
We will announce the process for joining the book club when we launch in March, as we are still finalizing some of the logistics at the moment. There will be a lot of flexibility for those that want to dive in and participate as fully as possible and those who prefer to participate more minimally, perhaps simply reading on their own and following the discussion as time allows.
We do plan to allow for about 10 weeks between announcing the author and book, and wrapping up with the final webinar, so that people who miss the initial announcement can join at any time during the online discussion.
As you know, our live webinars do have "seating" capacity, so this is the only element of the book club program that we anticipate being limited. We will make sure that we announce the opening of registration for these webinars as early as we can, depending on our authors' schedules, so I would encourage interested members to register early for these, as they can fill up quickly. If you miss them, however, we will post them for viewing on demand, as we always do.
Look for announcements and more information in our Critical Path blog, where we share information about upcoming community activity, events and programming updates.
