Assume you are working on a multi-phase project as your project is planned to last three years. A best practice is to— a. Periodically review the business case b. Use a single prime contractor and have this contractor award any subcontracts c. Rely on your PMO for guidance d. Set up a ‘tight matrix’

I would like to choose Option # a. Periodically review the business case

Justification:

In the case of multi-phase projects, the business case may be periodically reviewed to ensure that the project is on the track to deliver the business benefits.
(Reference Page # 69 last Para , PMBOK Guide Fifth Edition)

Obvious Answer is option 'A', as the project is multi phase and has a span of three years, it is always advisable to review your business case after each phase to keep focus on your project objectives and to maintain common understanding. Also as mentioned in PMBOK project is progressively elaborated, hence , Option A
