What is the difference between Scope and Requirement?

What term we use for the requirements we need to deliver the Scope?

Hi,

Requirement is the clients expectation from the project / product.

and Scope is the big list of activities or tasks that can help us to meet the client requirement. (Break down )

Scope is the work to be done within baselines and project constraints to achieve project objective. Scope creates a clear differentiating line between what to do and what not to do..(Preventing Scope Creep and Gold Plating).

During a project passes through various processes, requirements come and go but only some requirements that are approved by CCB are fulfilled.

Hi,

Thanx for sharing your views. Quite clear it is.

But I still wondering what term is used for the requirement (Linguistic meaning, not Project management term) to fulfill the desired scope.

Thanx..
