Clarification: PMI-CPMAI

Hello everyone 👋,



I’m interested in enrolling in the PMI Certified Professional in Managing AI (PMI-CPMAI™) Exam Prep Course & Certification bundle. On the PMI website, the pricing shown is:



Member Price: $699



Full Price: $899



The page states “Exam Prep Course & Certification”, but I want to make sure before I proceed:



✅ Does this bundle include the certification exam fee/voucher?
Meaning, after completing the prep course, can I directly book the CPMAI exam without paying an additional exam fee?



A few more clarifications would be helpful:



Does the bundle include one exam attempt or multiple?



Is the exam online and remotely proctored globally?



Are there regional differences in CPMAI exam availability or pricing? (I’m located in Saudi Arabia)



I appreciate any guidance or confirmation from those who have recently taken or purchased the CPMAI bundle. Thank you in advance!

From what I’ve seen on PMI’s site and in the official CPMAI Exam Content Outline (Jan 2025), the “Exam Prep Course & Certification” bundle appears to include the exam voucher, but the ECO doesn’t explicitly confirm details like number of attempts or regional availability.

I’d recommend contacting PMI Customer Care to confirm three things before enrolling:
1. Whether the exam voucher is included in your bundle,
2. How many attempts are covered, and
3. If the exam is available online in your region (Saudi Arabia).

Ali, normally, those bundles do includes the course and exam but to be on the safe side, check with PMI customer care.

Ali, not sure if you are already got the answer to this, but this is both the training and the exam. However they only allow one exam attempt, but they state they can allow (at their sole discretion) a re-sit if you don't pass on the first attempt. The catch is that the exam has to be done within 90 days.

Note that this has now changes as PMI has launched the PMI-CPMAI. I did CPMAI v7 exam cos I had already registered when they introduced the changes.

I passed the exam yesterday 24th Nov, Congratulation message on passing certification appears on the screen and there was also some survey. However, I did not receive any email confirmation or update on PMI portal related with my certification success so far.

Hi Muhammad, congrats on passing your exam. And yes that's all you get. But you will get the certificate within 2-5 days.
