I am now preparing for the PMP exam. As going through more deeply than when I was studying for the CAPM I suggest these edits to the PMBOK.
I suggest modifying the inputs and outputs for the Plan Scope Management. The project management plan is an input for the scope management plan, however the scope management plan is an input for the project management plan. I suggest that the project management plan should not be an input for the scope management plan because the scope management plan is part of it. The inputs could be more specific such cost management plan and risk management plan...etc
I contacted the customer care at PMI but nobody responded.

Thanks for your suggestion! Currently suggestions/recommendations for the development of the PMBOK® Guide—Sixth Edition are closed, as we are in the process of developing the final draft. This final draft is currently scheduled to be posted onto www.pmi.org in February of 2016 for a public exposure draft process.
