Hi Francisco, thanks for bringing these reflections to the community, as we close out 2025. Looking forward to hearing what everyone considers their main project successes and challenges from the past year.

This year, success came from strengthening stakeholder alignment and making progress visible through frequent check ins. Small course corrections early saved bigger issues later. The challenge was constant change and resource stretch. It reminded me that adaptability, clear priorities, and honest conversations are just as critical as schedules and governance.

Like many others, we are influenced by the current international political climate, which has introduced a degree of uncertainty. As a result, management is prioritizing cost-saving measures. This shift has notably impacted certain services, particularly our public transit operations. For example, functions that were once considered nice to have, have now become luxury requests.

This year was a mix of solid wins and important lessons.
My biggest successes came from improving alignment and transparency across teams, especially in complex or hybrid environments. The main challenges were managing uncertainty, unrealistic expectations, and change fatigue, but they pushed me to be clearer, more adaptive, and more intentional in how I lead and communicate.
