Hello PMI! My name is Daulet Shakenov, and I have recently joined the Project Management Institute as a student member. I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Project Management programme, conducting academic research focused on the evolving role and competencies of AI project managers. As a part of my doctoral research, I am preparing a peer-reviewed research paper that requires qualitative , interview-based data. Specifically, I am seeking to conduct semi-structured interviews with approximately 10-12 practicing AI project managers who actively identify themselves as AI project managers. Despite my efforts, I have encountered significant difficulty in independently reaching professionals who meet this specific profile. Therefore, I am writing to inquire whether the PMI community might be able to support this research by facilitating networking opportunities or sharing participation invitations within relevant PMI channels. I would be very grateful for any help or support PMI may be able to offer in connecting with active AI project managers (who transitioned from traditional to AI-driven ones).

Hi Daulet - interested community members may comment here, connect with you via the PMI Community Profile, and reach out with a direct message. We kindly request that community members do not solicit or request survey participation on ProjectManagement.com but certainly encourage you to leverage the online community to build your network in this space.
