We use multiple tools for multiple tasks and the improvement of process is tracked in these same tools.

We use multiple tools depending on the type of process improvement we embark upon. We use tools such as Process Mapping, Process Flow Charting, Brainstorming and Pareto Analysis. Pareto Analysis tool is often used to identify the vital few problems or causes of problems that have the greatest impact. We use Pareto diagram or chart pictorially to represent data in the form of a ranked bar chart that shows the frequency of occurrence of items in descending order. Usually, Pareto diagrams reveal that 80% of the effect is attributed to 20% of the causes; hence, it is some-times known as the 80/20 rule.
We also ensure that our tracking tools are responsive enough so that they can detect the effectiveness of the improvements as well as the unintended consequences. Within the Six Sigma method, the overall model we use often is DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve, and control) for continuous improvement tracking of process. Saving Changes...
