Renewal of Disciplined Agile Certifications

I understand that Disciplined Agile Certifications have been discontinued (I hold a DASSM and DAC certification). The PMI dashboard offers me to renew my DASSM certification for 20$, but I am not sure if there is any added value to that - and why it is offered at all. Any insights? Thank you!

I'd agree that there is little value in renewing your DASSM if you are also holding a higher cert like the DAC. Earlier this year I chose to renew the latter but not the former. As to why PMI continues to offer it - the answer is clear: money...

I agree and am also pretty hesitant in renewing the DASSM. For the DAC, however, they do not give an option for renewal (even though from as far as I know it expires in January 2026). All very weird...

That is odd as mine is showing the renew option with a deadline of February 23, 2026. Have you accumulated the required 7 PDUs yet?

That is odd as mine is showing the renew option with a deadline of February 23, 2026. Have you accumulated the required 7 PDUs yet?

I personally renewed my DASSM because I don't have the DAC so probably if I had the latter, I wouldn't have renewed the DASSM.
