Hello,

A question for those who most recently obtained the PMI-RMP certification, please.

I already have a PMP certification but would like to pursue the PMI-RMP.

In your opinion, would the online course that PMI offers (PMI-RMP Exam Prep Course for $350) suffice to take the exam?

Or should I invest $800-1000 for an online instructor-led course instead?

And if you've taken one of those, please provide your recommendation. There are so many options of the authorized training partners listed.

For my PMP I took an instructor-led class and felt very well prepared for my exam. So, was leaning to doing the same for the RMP. But given that I already have PMP knowledge, would the online self-paced course prepare me well enough?

Thank you!

I believe so, but would like to hear from anyone who's taken the PMI-RMP Exam Prep Course for any insights!

Because your PMP prep was instructor-led and you felt well-prepared — and because RMP is more specialized — the instructor-led course is worth the investment unless you are extremely confident in your quantitative risk analysis skills and disciplined about self-study
