Becoming a PMP instructor for PMI

I was looking online and saw someone from PMI with a PMP instructor license provided by PMI. I hold a PMP and a Scrum Master certificate from Scrum.org. I was wondering if there are steps to become a PMP instructor. I have a passion for teaching and in the months since getting my PMP on my first try last April, I have wanted to teach people about the passion I have for Project Management. Any pointers are welcomed.

uRobert Argueta I think you need to find an organization that offers training courses so that it is accredited as a trusted partner by the PMI, and then you can be accredited as a trainer by them.

Does it cost money to reach out to an organization to get privilege to train people for the PMP?

Hi Robert, it's exciting journey, I have been trainer for PMP in past and done many trainings. I can share my personal experience. I started with local chapter as trainer, you can always do free bootcamps and see if it's really your taste and then either join an ATP or register your own. It's like running your own business. I hope this helps you.
