I don't want to spend on a full course because I'm already taking a course, but the content presentation is not doing it for me. Here are the additional resources I've already invested in:
1- CAPM Official Cert Guide, Kanabar) Questions that go with the chapter include things not actually covered in the chapter
2- PMI CAPM Study Hall) Questions that go with each domain include things not covered by their content on that domain
3- Project Management: Practice Questions for the CAPM Exam, Landini) Questions organized by domain, but again, I can't find info on those concepts in the content from either of the sources above
4- CAPM Crash Course, Kanabar) Just bought. The first resource that presents material in order of domain and task. Haven't tried the domain-wide questions yet, but I'm hoping they are testing concepts that are covered in the book.
I'm interested in Rita's focused tests available in the exam simulator. If PM Prep Cast's CAPM simulator lets you narrow your questions by at least domain, I'd be interested. The important part is that I don't want questions the cover content that's not on the CAPM ECO. Otherwise, I'd be studying for the PMP.
And as far as content goes, I want content that covers what's on the test. My problem is that the questions that go with the content I have include things that aren't in the content so I'm not sure whether the questions don't go with the CAPM or whether the accompanying content is insufficient.
I just want to read/consume material and then be quizzed on it, but my quizzes are going outside of that.
I suspect that each of the top three resources, despite saying they've been updated to the current CAPM, have retained questions that align with the older version or include questions that are relevant for the PMP, but that you don't need to know for CAPM.
