I’ve been exploring a question that I believe many of us in the profession have wondered about:

I’ve been exploring a question that I believe many of us in the profession have wondered about:

Is it actually possible to determine how many PMP-certified professionals—or holders of other certifications—exist in specific countries such as Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, or Saudi Arabia?

More importantly:

  1. Are there any reliable statistics published on a monthly or yearly basis?
  2. If not publicly available, what practical ways have you used to estimate or approximate these numbers?
  3. Are there data sources, analytical approaches, or even indirect indicators that can help build a realistic picture?

Understanding this could unlock valuable insights into market maturity, talent distribution, and growth trends across regions.

I’d really value hearing from anyone who has tackled this before, worked with relevant data, or has a perspective to share.

What’s your experience with this?

Alaa, see below answers to your questions:

1) You can go to the PMI Registry: https://www.pmi.org/certifications/certifi...ources/registry , chose the country and certification, the press search without entering First & Last name. You will get the total number of registries along with a list.

2) PMI used to publish those statistics on monthly basis, but now they do so quarterly without breaking them down per certificate. See the following link to page: https://www.projectmanagement.com/articles...numbers-q4-2025 Hope this helps!
