The Southeast Michigan IBM i User Group (http://www.semiug.org) is looking for someone to give a presentation on the topic of Project Management in November 2015. The IBM System i is a platform which supports ERP applications such as Mapics (XA), JDEdwards, and SAP. It also supports many Open Systems applications and the Linux OS. Our user group consists of Information Technology professionals who support these systems and have to manage or participate in implementations. We would like to have a presentation on the management of technical projects. It should give a high-level view of the benefits of Project Management to a technical environment and perhaps some tips for implementing some practical PM practices for those who may not use Project Management currently.
