There is no single best GenAI platform, as each platform continues to evolve.
From time to time, the ranking may change, and I believe the best choice depends on your specific reporting needs, budget, and preferred features.

I've had good results with Claude for longer and more detailed project reports, especially when there are multiple sources, meeting notes, risks, decisions, and stakeholder updates to consolidate.
ChatGPT works well for executive summaries, status reports, dashboards, and refining the final narrative.
Gemini can also be useful, particularly when working within the Google ecosystem.
In practice, I haven't found a single "best" platform. The quality of the inputs, prompts, and review process usually has a bigger impact than the tool itself. I often use a combination of Claude, Gemini, and ChatGPT depending on the reporting need.
