Is the “Best” AI Tool the One Built for Project Management Context?

In many AI conversations, people often ask, “Which AI tool are you using?” Sometimes when we mention one tool, someone may immediately say another tool is better.

From my own experience, I have explored different AI tools at different stages, including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Grok, Claude, and now I have returned to using ChatGPT, especially with Codex for more structured technical support.

However, for project management work, I am starting to think the better question may not be “Which AI tool is the best?” The more useful question may be, “Which AI tool is most suitable for the project management context?”

This is where I see PMI Infinity as an interesting and practical option for project professionals to explore. General AI tools can be powerful, but project managers also need support that is aligned with project delivery, governance, risk, stakeholder communication, lessons learned, and professional practice.

At the same time, I believe the project manager still needs to validate the output, apply business context, consider data sensitivity, and take accountability for the final decision. AI can support our thinking, but it should not replace professional judgment.

For me, the “best” AI tool may not always be the most popular one. It may be the one that helps us ask better questions, make better decisions, and manage projects more responsibly.

How are others choosing between general AI tools and project management-focused AI platforms such as PMI Infinity?
