I think the growing alignment between academic programs and PMI practices is helping new professionals enter the field with a stronger understanding of project management concepts, frameworks, and business value.
The real opportunity comes when theory is complemented with practical experience, mentoring, and exposure to real projects. That's where future project leaders develop the judgment, adaptability, and stakeholder management skills needed for strategic roles.
