I work for a small company. My back ground was in deployment for a global corporation. My current company brought me on as a Project Manager for their growing deployment. My role has been to bring processes to the company enabling continued to growth. This was a great opportunity but I'm it, it's a Project Management Department of one. My access to seasoned Project managers is limited. I am a member of my local PMI Charter but looking at their events schedule it is pretty sparse. Does anyone have any tips on gaining a mentor?

projectmanagement.com is a very fine place to look at the profile of various project managers all over the world. You can pick and choose the most experienced and best suited person and ask his/her willingness to be your mentor.
