I have seen many practitioners, who are following PMBok and Agile same time.

Most of the people really do not understand what agile is. Most of the people talk about "agile" as a synonym of agile software development. Most of the people do not understand what the PMBOK is. In fact, you can see PMP certified people that talk about "PMI Methodology". I have performed conferences around the world from 2010 talking about the full compatibility about the agile world, the agile software development methodologies and the PMBOK.
