Me and my Team is implementing ERP SAP in our organization. The major phase is very near to complete. After completion of the phase, there will be technological shift for the organization staff.
This major shift will create a change in organization style of work i.e. from conventional style of working to much progressive and smart way of working.
Organizational behavior is major input to the success of the project and later on, this puts the organization on the path of success and achievement. The change in organizational way of working is a time taking process but as a project manager i do believe in change that bring improvement in gaining productive results.
As a PM, my major concern is to establish a change in a productive and appropriate manner. I would like have input from this forum, so that i may able to implement this change with minimum amount of risk and the strategy which helps me to achieve better results. Saving Changes...

Involve your stakeholders and sponsors early on in the project and solicit input from them on how best to implement the change.
If you are not doing a big bang implementation, try doing a pilot in a small size area of your organization first and learn from it.
Communication is key from earlier on so that your stakeholders will onboard with you when time comes. The stakeholders will need to be aware of the value of the change - WIIF them?

I am leading the same in the company where I am working now. The first thing to understand is that you are accountable for the project but you are not responsible for the project tasks to achieve the result (taking in RACI jargon). A business analyst could help with that just in case you have the role in your organization. You have to engage the right stakeholders at all level in the organization. And when I talk about engage you have to put clear from the very beginning that they are accountable for all related to define and perform the right activities to achieve the result. One thing that helped to me in create this type of change is using the "Solution Selling" selling method to prepare myself for each stage into the journey. Saving Changes...
Waqas, a word of caution, do not confuse organizational change with project change management. The case in question is about organizational change and I am afraid you are treating it like a project issue. Organizational change describes the business case and the project objectives are determined in light of that. From within the project you deal with project change requests but you cannot actively influence strategic objectives or organizational change.
Any change in organization due to completion of a phase or project, is not caused by project manager but the strategy which was designed even before project was concieved. I do not stop you from considering all factors but you must keep in mind, you are not the decision maker or sponsor to determine fate of organizational change.
