Why does PMI not have a collar pin for each certification, why only for PMP?

Since PMI came up with many certifications after PMP, they have discontinued issuing collar pins for new certifications. The only pin we have is PMP, I think there should be pins for PgMP, PfMP, PBA, SP, RMP and ACP also, even CAPM. What do you think?

Good question!

On the other hand, am curious.... when do you ever use your pin?

Nice Rhetoric!

Only when attending some PMI event locally or globally... that makes me look better and recognizable. :-)

My understanding from Kristin's answer is: More certs in the pipeline actually. I would appreciate something, that competes to TDWI's CBIP, but combines also BA, change management and PM/agile with this BI/DWH-stuff. And ongoing development in these topics counting towards PDU balance for PMP/ACP/PBA/RMP as all of these arme crutial things to BI-projects.
