Recently, I’ve seen more teams experimenting with AI tools for planning and reporting—but hesitation still exists in critical decisions.

It made me reflect on where we truly trust AI versus relying on experience.

Are you currently trusting AI tools in project decisions, or still relying mainly on human judgment? Where do you draw the line?

First of all let me say we are using AI in project management from more than 40 years ago. Sometimes without being aware on that. The "new kid on the block" is generative AI which is a subset of AI. Returning to your point, generative AI is replacing 95% of project management activities. I am not saying this "by the book". It is what we did in the practice in my actual work place. At this point, we need to pay attention about what "decisions" means in agentic ai systems.
