Looking back on your project management career, what's one lesson you learned the hard way that completely changed the way you manage projects?

Certifications, books, and training courses provide valuable knowledge, but real projects often teach lessons that can't be found in any textbook.

What experience changed your mindset, and how has it influenced the way you lead projects today?

Your story could help someone avoid the same mistake.

An excellent question.

One of the most important lessons I have learned is that experience alone never guarantees maturity.
Projects do not teach us automatically. We learn only when experience is deliberately reflected upon, openly discussed and transformed into better judgment.

That is also why two professionals can go through the same project and emerge with completely different levels of growth.

Perhaps the greatest value of a project is not only what it delivers, but the quality of the judgment it develops and the knowledge it leaves behind for the people and the organization.
