Whenever it comes to SCRUM certifications people look at either SCRUM.org or SCRUMALLAINCE.com
I have recently come across SCRUMstudy certifications which I feel are equally good and is also available where the other two certification organizations do not serve.
What is your opinion about this third body in comparison with the existing leaders in this area? Saving Changes...

Hello Suhail,
I looked across the webpages of scrumstudy. At first glance it looked quite good. It had some points that I missed at the other certifications, such as recertification and prerequisites of recertifications. For example at scrumalliance up to now you can recertificate, but you just have to pay for it, you need no training or other educational hours. You need them, if you want to become a CSP.
But additionally I wanted to know who is behind scrumstudy. Maybe I am blind today but I found nothing. Who is the owner or founder? I do not know.
That is the reason why instead of scrumstudy I would recommend the PMI-ACP of PMI. It is not "just" scrum but all the bunch of agile techniques like kanban, scrum, lean, crystal, ... There is a huge organisation behind this certificate and I have to earn PDUs the same way as for my PMP. You can do your certification in mostly the same testing-centers as for the PMP too. And in order to get eligble for the PMI-ACP you have to show that you have worked in the field and not just finished the training.
So in my humble opinion l would go for the PMI-ACP.
Thank you Hannes for such a valuable analysis. I was not comparing it to ACP as I fully understand benefits of PMI-ACP being one of the certified person in the same. I was just wondering if SCRUMstudy can be compared to other two pioneering competitors. I have observed on SCRUMstudy website the recertification requirements but I agree they are not well established as yet. This is a company based in USA but supported from India and most of their founders and staff are sitting in India. What I like about them is the standard of their training and availability of all courses online with proctored testing. Saving Changes...
