This has happened to me as well. In some webinars, there were real pauses during the presentation; hence the silence. I waited and waited and finally some of the webinars would continue and move forward. Try doing this. Hope it works for you. Saving Changes...

Thanks for the responses. I have reinstalled IE 11. It now stops at 3 min, instead of 2 min. I have tried waiting. Nothing seems to work. This happens on every webinar I have tried so far. I'm really stuck here. Saving Changes...
