The immediate aswer that came to my mind is the one that I have used as my blog title (see "PM is to Solve" blog in this community)

Project Management is about solving project challenges and Project Managers shall position themselves as "solutionists" when dealing with a project issue. And as PM you certainly know that there is allways issues to be resolved in a project.

Many of you may have a different answer but probably this aswer will be intrinsically tied to "solve" something. For example, PMI says that "PM is the application of knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements". In my view, meeting project requirements is tied to "solve" the challenges regarding scope, cost, timing and quality for final customer satisfaction. Does it make sense?
