I like the way PMI reward their volunteers. Small but memorable rewards can go a long way. Once we were all given US$50 debit cards, once PMI sent a beautiful wooden carved pen, once a visiting card holder and so on. They may not cost much but on every success, if such small motivations keep flowing, team feels elevated. You can use the same approach in agile teams.
On another tune, you might consider the agile team members as partners and they might be given an equivalent share for the job well done.
