Predictive Project Analytics

Recently, my organization has shown interest in utilizing a Predictive Project Analytic process or tool. I have done some research but I am currently at a standstill. I am looking for any information or guidance in terms of PPA. For example, companies that have implemented a form of the PPA process or other information sources.
