Dear All.

Currently I have a new customer who needs/wants a CRM. For this I offered him the SuiteCRM.
Does anyone have a good project procedure to do a correct implementation which might be helpfull?
Currently I am reading this article: http://www.cornerstonesolutions.com/articl...lementation.pdf

Some one has one has more valuable ideas?
Any input is much appreciated :-)
Many thanks in advance.
Regards,
Paco

Francisco, I very much enjoyed the article by Susan Clark, to referred to and the 10 steps to CRM Implementation she mentioned are as follows:-
1. Start with a picture
2. Define your sales process…Map out how you do things
3. WIIFM
4. Add customizations before roll out
5. Don’t add too many fields
6. Be sure your hardware exceeds minimum requirements
7. Have documented procedures
8. Train your staff…but not just keystrokes
9. Follow-up and train your staff again
10. Give Awards

I think there are many approaches, methodologies and software to support CRM implementation and SuiteCRM is definitely a very nice addition. I would suggest you must decide based on the CRM project you are actually dealing with. Susan Clark's guideline can be a generic way to move ahead.

Poco,

My best bit of advice is in this recent blog post. You may not like the title, but I am very serious about where most failures lie--in the executive sponsorship.

Cheers,
Todd

Dear Suhail Todd.

Suhail:
Yes I really think that this can be a good start and I am pleased to read that you also enjoyed reading Susan Clark´s article. And thus I want to thank you for your opinion. Will re-read it again and see if her steps could put me on the right path.

Todd:
Many thanks for sharing your article dated the 24th of September. Will take your lines into consideration.

No worries, Todd

Maybe the confusion is made by me. My oficial name is indeed, Francisco José Almena Cercas. But it seems hard for the spaniards to call me this they simply call me Paco. (which is short for Francisco José)

When I lived in Holland (for more than 25 years) I had the same thing. There they just called me "Jozef". jaja.
Hoping to receive more insightfull links to your excellent articles.

Warm Regards,
Paco
