I really would like to understand about the different quality processes to be followed and it is driven by the client requirements or organization policies.

Certainly by client needs. That answers both. Limitation only exist in lack of knowledge or availability of skills (or resource) and budget.

I agree with Arul. While quality is always in the eye of the client, you need both client requirements and organizational policies to drive quality management.

Sorry if I did not understand well, but quality is not determined by the client. Quality is determined by the organizational strategy. Quality is a matter of strategy. Prevention must prevail so you have to put all your efforts in quality assurance. That´s not meant that you have to forget quality control. if you do not work on quality you will loose your client. That is intrinsic to quality definition itself.
