Can someone please recommend any software testing tools that best integrates into JIRA; I''m consulting for an organization that is planning to deploy JIRA and integrate it with an easy to use test tool; I have seen Zephyr but I need recommendations please.

You can try out Selenium. Not tried but it should work.

Thanks Pravin; maybe I should have said Test managment tools; I use Selenium for automation but looking for tools to manage test activities that integrates into Jira

We have tried test management link on JIRA with "TestLink" and works well. However, more information is available here: - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Integrate JIRA With A Test Case Manager.

Zephyr seems to be most popular of all the available tools.

Look for # 7 Custom Screens. This outlines how Test cases can be managed within JIRA.

I''m not sure you should make JIRA integration to sole requirement, Ebenezer. You can usually find ways to integrate tools. (We actually used ALM with JIRA.)

I would make tool integration a secondary requirement and focus your primary requirements on the test management functionality.

The main purpose of what you will test will also help decide which testing tool may be optimal for your environment. What kind of development are you doing Ebenezer?
Test Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development or Functional Driven Development
-- Selenium is a solid option
