I figured this is the place that real project managers hang out... I would qualify as a "B" player and probably will never achieve ganthead status.
I have a newbie group that is just embracing the PM mindset. As a result, I need a PM tool that can be offered in ASP/Subscription form via the internet and provides what I consider >> PM 101. Security and Ease of use would be the critical success factors. Projects would be less than 500 tasks with less than 50 resource entities (people). Ideally they could create project plans with dates and assigned resources and the resources could status their assigned tasks. No resource loading, work variance, schedule variance,... stuff needed (don't want to scare them away)
The tool would need to be reputable enough that I do not have to worry about the company going belly up in the next 12 months.
