You should be able to map your IT initiatives with business objectives in order for the strategy to give "value" to the company and to be bought-in by business directors. Metrics and KPI´s to measure this value are also recommended. Saving Changes...

Really we can think about common things such as expanding market, increasing revenue, but when we will get a new product or product with a new functions as a result new IT strategy, we have to change the business strategy.
