I have two to recommend:
1) I''ve listened to "Unlocking Potential" by Michael K. Simpson, which is an excellent book on coaching people.
2) At the PMI Global congress, I received a free copy of "Project Management Professionals are Coloring Outside the Lines" by Jeff Tobe, and Ted Kallman
3) I''ve also been reading "The Dance of Change" by Peter Senge
4) Finally, "The Three Laws of Performance" by Steve Zaffron and Dave Logan

I like to read about how PM has been applied, or specific relevant areas of it - a recent read "King Hussein of Jordan: A Political Life" by Nigel Ashton, gives a great insight into stakeholder management, while next on my reading list is the highly rated "Now It Can Be Told: The Story of the Manhattan Project" by Leslie R. Groves

I finished "Bare Knuckled Project Management" (https://store.kobobooks.com/en-ca/ebook/ba...every-project). I found it a bit abrasive but came away with a few good points. I particularly like the concept of the three-sided table (hint: no relation to the triple constraint.)

The book is fairly short and free on Kobo. I would not say its a great book but it''s a great pick for an evening reading.

I recommend the book by Harold Kerzner: Using the Project Management Maturity Model. It provides great insight about project management within the organization and also provides a guide to assess and diagnose PM Maturity
