Hello!
Really love PM.com. I have found some really useful threads here already to help me with my projects, and with other applications and software I use. I really appreciate you all taking the time to share what you know best!

I especially found some great help with Agile! We use agile to manage the bugs in our system software and reading through some of the threads here helped a lot.

I am curious if anyone has used Transpose? Transpose is relatively new, but super innovative, and is going to change how many of the software companies approach development.

With something like Transpose, you can create solutions such as templates, records, and notes. You can tracking orders, view inventory, enhance projects and manage content. With a simple drag-n-drop editor you get to pick from a wide selection of data fields including dates, time, files, contacts or even transcribed voice recording.

There are a number of other apps like Trello, Notable, JIRA and others but each would give you one view for your data; on kanban boards, in spreadsheets or calendars, you would have to connect all those different apps together though with something like Zapier or IFTTT to send and duplicate data between them all. Transpose offers those views as well and using the same data you already have.

I would love to know what you guys think. If you think it would be useful.

It works great for me, when I am working on projects, tracking leads, and now I am using it instead of Agile.

Cheers!!

Hello David, thanks for bringing the attention onto Transpose, to be honest never heard of it, and did a bit of study now.... Looks like an interesting tool, however it looks more like a data management tool than a PM tool. I also see lot of missing features which most of the project managers use nowadays. I would look into this as well.

probably with more usage it might get better

Hello David, thanks for the post. I never heard of Transpose but I know about IFFT and I found the idea of Transpose very interesting. Keeping information in synchronization is a very big challenge and this looks like an interesting solution.

From what I have read, Transpose is an activity-tracker along with Slack, Trello, Evernote and OneNote. Personally, I lean towards OneNote and EverNote simply because of low to no cost. I saw some complaints about the cost of Transpose, but didn't investigate the actual dollars for a license.
