Primavera Project Planner is our main PM tool and we are starting to use the resource capability. The problem that we have is that we are using the tool in an organization which has 99% of its SW development done by outside contractors. We are not using it in the traditional SW development environment. So if anybody can share their data dictionary or a summary of how they defined the codes in the Resource Dialog Box and any other affected codes, I would appreciate seeing how you use those codes.
Bill, We set up a resource code in P3 for each contractor we utilize on SW Devleopment projects. We also tag each resource id with a (first 3 characters)contractor name. This will let us identify the work by each contractor thatis utilized on the project. Saving Changes...
