I am conducting Project Manager interviews and would like to use a set of scenarios to determine competency. Do you or anyone you might have connections with have any suggestions of possible questions? I would like to gain a better understanding of our candidates use of methodology and ability to work with teams.

Thanks in advance

What I would suggest is to use a PMP Prep book, which will provide you plenty of situations that may be useful for your purpose. I am not saying that candidates should take the exam per se, but definitely you will be able to assess their degree of knowledge in the project management discipline.

Using possible scenarios from the project for which hiring is planned will be good. Also asking the candidate to elaborate on the scenarios from their projects where he/she applied the management capabilities will be good.

It depends what quality you are looking for.
if looking for planning then ask on WBS, budegting, scheduling.
if looking for with business analyst skills then ask for scoping
