1. Is it a vast/minor change?
2. Does it involve a different approach for the exam preparations?

I took the exam in 2016, and the content from the "pre-exam" changes was not really much different. Know of the existence of agile and how it differs from waterfall at a basic level (agile has sprints/short term phases) vs waterfall's longer term emphasis. Understand the emphasis on stakeholder communication and your communication plan.

This was a good document I used that sort of went into a little more detail.

John,

The five domains of practice for the PMP remain the same. However, tasks within each domain have been modified, added, or removed.

To view all the changes in detail, see the Exam Content Outline in the following link.

Hi Karthik,

I recently took an online course from PMstudy - http://www.pmstudy.com/Index.asp and their study material is up to date with the new PMP exam. I have heard that the same goes for their classroom courses. You can try their online course it's just great and I am sure they must have a classroom program in India.
