Marjorie! Thanks a lot for sharing the useful information.
So it means that becoming part of REP institution is mandatory to impart the knowledge and expertise for the pmp preparatory course and issue the certificate of participation ultimately? Saving Changes...

Hi Usman,
Becoming a PMI Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) is not required to offer a course on exam prep or for contact hours. However, there are benefits to becoming an R.E.P. in relation to what you might be offering.
I would definitely reach out to [email protected] for additional information on what steps you would need to take to move forward.
Thanks! Saving Changes...

I think Marjorie's suggestion is your best option, Usman. I have developed and delivered PMP preparatory courses but they were for company employees. You sound like you want to reach out to a wider audience. The REP designation would get you more customers. Saving Changes...
Stephane, right now I cant engage myself with the wider audience; I was referring to small groups or even an individual. Besides, I wrote to [email protected] about 2 weeks ago but haven't got any reply. Saving Changes...

Hi Usman,
Perhaps u could contact current REPs in your area and provide a CV of your work achievements. Having a PMP definitely helps. If u could provide a course outline over the contact hours - at times the REPs require trainers to support their classes. That would be a good start.
I currently do this in my line of work. Becoming an REP requires more investment. There has to be certain track record in training, a syllabus has to be approved etc.
