I issued a poll to see how much interested members are in having more than 1 Blog. Check it out.

How do I create a blog? I do not see any instructions and when I do a search for the instructions, no result is found.

Near your profile tab, there is account tab. Click on it and it will take you to your main account. Go through the list of options, I believe it is 3rd from bottom called Blogs and you can create a blog there. Let me know if you need anything else.

Thanks rami but it didn't work. I already have a blog entry. I want to add another blog which it appears I cannot do. I also have an entry with a title of book review. I want to manually add another book review but info not see the function. I had added my 2nd book review but do not see the function to manually do this as an article or blog..

You're welcome - I recently addressed the same question to the website admin and below was their answer:

You are only allowed one main blog - To create additional blogs you need to contact the Editor, [email protected]. Additional blogs can be created for members in good standing who have been members on our site for an extended period of time.

Thank you all for your comments. To confirm - only one blog can be created.

Great questions, everyone! We apologize if there is any confusion surrounding the blogs. Currently, you must reach a particular status (based on your activity, participation, and evidence of commitment to the community) to create a blog. Until you reach that status, you will not see the option in your profile to "create a blog."

In regards to authoring multiple blogs, keep in mind that the most successful blogs have a consistent schedule of posts that appeal to a wide audience. A good blog will be general enough to encompass a variety of topics while keeping focused on a particular audience. This generally requires a time commitment which that can be difficult to maintain - especially when work/life gets in the way (oh, those dreaded work deadlines that take up my free time). Consequently, we do not encourage members to create multiple blogs. We have found that blogs often get abandoned as they are difficult to maintain. For example, there are a large number of blogs currently on site that have not been updated in quite some time. This fosters a negative effect on the overall sense of the community.

That being said, I'm very interested in seeing how the poll turns out! It is important to listen to our member suggestions and find ways to create a space that is beneficial and creates value for the community overall. Thanks for posting it, @Rami!

Why thanks, Rami. I actually have been blogging since 2009! I created a blog focused on dog ownership in Philadelphia. It never ceases to amaze me how much time it consumes to maintain - case in point: I haven't updated in months. Which I know is only causing me to lose my audience and overall interest. Sigh.
Your post just gave me the much needed nudge to get back in there and start writing!!!!
