Trying to add something to good comments above, I will write about my personal experience: I have worked on any size of projects and I have applied quantitative risk analysis (with probability calculations) in those sites where a business unit has expertisse on that. In other sites I have used the SEI CMU probability analysis (based on what an stakeholder said and about that to assign a probability percentage) as a tool. What matters is the risk manage proces, I mean what you do with your risks. Saving Changes...
